Festivities of Ibiza

It is always a good time to come to Ibiza and disconnect from the routine, but if you are thinking of coming this year we recommend you do it during the Saint’s Festivities of Ibiza cause its when you can fully enjoy the essence of Ibiza.

The program of the parties every year changes since they are original and entertaining parties preserving its traditional characteristics such as the Ball Pagès, a primitive dance in which men invites women to dance with the rhythm of the castanets dressed in traditional costumes accompanied of emprendadas, a characteristic jewel of the oldest Ibiza. Watching this dance you can feel like in Ibiza thousands of years ago, and you can encourage yourself to participate and have fun dancing.

Other activities that also take place in the popular Ibiza festivals are outdoor concerts, recreational and sport activities to enjoy in family, markets with artisans from each locality where you can enjoy the gastronomy of Ibiza with local products such as: sobrasada, butifarrón, orelletes, payés wine … and much more!

  • April 23 – Sant Jordi Ses Salines Ibiza.
  • May 18 – Puig d’en Valls.
  • June 24 – Sant Joan de Labtitja.
  • July 16 – Es Cubells.
  • August 5 – Santa María (patron saint of Ibiza).
  • August 8 – San Ciriaco (copatron of Ibiza).
  • August 10 – Sant Llorenç de Balàfia.
  • August 28 – Sant Agustí d’es Vedrá.
  • September 8 – Patron saint of the people of Jesus.
  • September 21 – Sant Mateu D’albarca.
  • September 29 – Sant Miquel de Balansat.
  • October 24 – Sant Rafel of sa Creu.
  • November 4 – Sant Carles de Peralta.
  • November 16 – Sant Gertrudis de Fruitera.
